The Possessed figure has always struck me as very striking, at first because of the violence it shows and I thought -Oh, that bloody bear looks great!-, then with a little more time I realized the symbolism it contained, it wasn't a cool bloody bear simply because it's violent, but a confused bear looking at its bloody hands probably without understanding what it just did, who it just hurt or why it did it and that was when the name made sense, possessed, with the little imp fluttering behind its back and manipulating it like a simple toy.
Lately I like to look for some meaning in my pieces beyond just trying to make them look pretty and I wanted to imagine that rabid bear acting in its favor, wresting control from the little devil and destroying it, both the control and the little devil because in a moment of lucidity it decided that it is not willing to continue being manipulated, unpossessed.
